Use your link to register each client before their first visit to any De Young Welcome Center, and make sure your buyer-broker representation agreement is signed before that first visit, consistent with NAR settlement practice requirements and California law (AB 2992).

When is my commission paid?
At the close of escrow, calculated on the base price of the home. The commission amount is determined based on when your buyer goes into contract.
Do I need to re-register my clients?
Registrations are valid for 90 days from the date of the buyer's first visit. To remain eligible, the Agent must re-register the buyer prior to expiration and must maintain a current, signed buyer-broker representation agreement throughout the registration period.
What if my client is registered by more than one agent?
De Young Properties pays one broker commission per sale, to the realtor your client designates at the time of contract.
Is the commission rate fixed?
No. The amount or rate of real estate commissions is not fixed by law and is fully negotiable. See a New Home Specialist for current program details.
Can I gift my commission to my client?
Any agent commission gifted to a client must be determined before the client’s first personal selections appointment.
