De Young Properties Helps to Successfully Raise $957,100 With 12th St. Jude Dream Home!
The 2018 St. Jude Dream Home was given away to Stan Ruiz of Kingsburg who was selected as the lucky winner of the approximately 2,144 sq. ft. home in the De Young Trailside at Loma Vista community in Clovis during the October 28th live television broadcast on FOX26.
With overwhelming support by the community who dug deep and donated, the 2018 Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway successfully raised $957,100 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Since 2007, De Young Properties has been a major donor and builder of 12 St. Jude Dream Homes, helping to raise $11,628,545 to help the kids of St. Jude fight cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley.
When asked what Stan and Lise were most excited about, their answer was simple. “You want an honest answer? It’s where the money went, it’s those kids. Next year, everybody should buy at least one. If you don’t win, don’t worry about it. Just look at what’s going to happen with $100, it’s going to go a long way.”
Cathy Franzell also won big and was the recipient of the De Young Properties $1,000 Thank You Giveaway! Thanks to the support of countless amazing donors, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was able to give away so much more than just the St. Jude Dream Home.
