De Young Properties Breaks Ground on 13th St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house!

As February came to a close, De Young Properties celebrated another year of building dreams by breaking ground on their 13th St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house that will be given away to a lucky winner this October. The Groundbreaking Ceremony, covered live by FOX26, included major donor and builder De Young Properties, trade partners, business affiliates and volunteers. The 1,900 sq. ft. home in the De Young EnVision community located in Clovis will be offered as the first place prize to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fight cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

It’s All for the Kids!

De Young Properties has dedicated this year’s campaign to the inspiring children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the giveaway are donated to St. Jude. Serving as major donor and builder of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway for the past 12 years, De Young Properties has successfully raised over $11.6 million for the hospital to date. This year, 10,000 tickets will be available in the hopes of raising $1,000,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley.

What’s New This Year?

The 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house is one of the newest floorplans from De Young. The Residence 190 with a beautiful Cottage elevation will offer three bedrooms, two baths, a dining room and a 3 car oversized garage. In addition, the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house will be a Zero Energy home, which means the home will be designed with the potential to produce as much clean energy as it consumes in a year*, providing the grand prize winner with increased indoor comfort and energy independence.
