Mother’s Day is almost here! What better way to celebrate your mom’s special day than to get out of the house and do something fun with the whole family? This weekend, there are a number of events happening in Fresno and Clovis to honor the women in our lives.  From a 10K to a Kayak tour, one of these events may be just what you are looking for to spend the day with your mom.

  • Bee Gees Gold – The Tribute Mother’s Day Concert

  • Half Day Kayak Tour

Paddle through the San Joaquin River and enjoy the natural beauty around you. Start your morning with a 10K run with your mom! The Mother’s Day 10k Run will be held on Saturday, May 13th at 7:05 a.m., located at Woodward Park. All participants will receive a shirt and mothers will receive a special commemorative race bib. There will be team awards for the best combined finish for Mom/Daughter and Mom/Son teams in the 10k and 2 mile run. Must pre-register to win.

The Fresno School of Self Defense is offering a free seminar for mothers and daughters. The seminar will take place on Sunday, May 14th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Don’t miss out on learning how to protect yourself!

  • Mother’s Day Wine Tasting

Toca Madera Winery is holding a wine tasting event just for you, moms. On Sunday, May 14th from 1-4 p.m., come enjoy a variety of wines with your loved ones.

  • Renew and Refresh Day Retreat

Take a drive up to Oakhurst with your mom to enjoy a relaxing retreat after the hype of Mother’s Day.
