As a way to celebrate environmental protection and awareness, we invite you to celebrate Earth Day with De Young Properties.  Visit a De Young Welcome Center this weekend for a special Earth Day giveaway that can help the environment and will be nice to look at, too! It’s the extra step that we take to give our homeowners increased control, convenience, peace of mind, comfort and overall efficiency. The building science and technology that’s included in our homes sets us apart from others. You can rest assured that we set the standard of smart living with the Earth in mind.

We don’t just say we are green, we prove it! Did you know that in 2013 partnered with PG&E to build a Zero Net Energy Home? And you can tour it at the Armstrong Welcome Center? This home supports the California Long Term Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan that will eventually require all new homes in California to be Zero Net Energy. This concept home is being used as a model home so De Young and PG&E can monitor and analyze the energy usage. This is just one example of our commitment to industry-leading energy efficient homebuilding.
