We all have that teacher that left a lasting impression on us in one way or another, if you were lucky enough, you had more than one!

Maybe it was the teacher that taught you the shortcut for long-division, or the one that stayed after school with you to make sure you understood the importance of propositions and adverbs. Or possibly a college professor that inspired you to find the path to your career. Teachers give us so much. These educators are special; they have touched our lives and our team at De Young Properties, would like to say thank you!

To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week and as a thank you for your dedication, any educator that purchases a De Young home by Sunday, May 8 will receive $1,000 in Personal Selections to be used in the De Young Design Studio AND $1,000 to be donated to their school.

Additionally, we invite you to join the National Education Association and National PTA’s #ThankATeacher Campaign to share your appreciation for the special educators in our lives. Say “Thank You” by sharing one of the following on social media during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-8:

• A picture of yourself with your favorite teacher, past or present;

• A picture of your child with his or her teacher;

• A picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with a simple message saying Thank You to a teacher and why you’re thanking him or her.
