With overwhelming support by the community who dug deep and donated, the 2013 Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway sold all available tickets and exceeded its goal by to raising $1,053,200 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Built by major donor De Young Properties, the home was given away to Lynn and Gary Higdon of Riverdale who were selected as the lucky winners of the new 3,298 sq. ft. home on an expansive 11,910 sq. ft. homesite in the De Young CountryCourt community during the November 10th live television broadcast on KMPH FOX 26.
De Young Properties is honored to have built and donated seven St. Jude Dream Homes, helping to raise $6,533,245 to help the kids of St. Jude fight cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley.

“When the letter came in the mail, we just filled it out and sent it in to support the children fighting cancer. We wanted to donate. We have purchased tickets for the past several years,” said 2013 St. Jude Dream Home winner, Lynn Higdon. “We are overwhelmed by the special touches of everything in the St. Jude Dream Home. As with all De Young EnergySmart homes, the 2013 St. Jude Dream Home was designed to maximize energy savings while offering quality craftsmanship and true comfort.
