St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway Success

Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Raises $949,100 For

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

The 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house, built by sponsor De Young Properties was given away to Sharon and Leroy Spears of Fresno who were selected as the lucky winner of the 1,900 square foot home in the De Young EnVision community located in Clovis during the October 18 Giveaway on FOX26.

With overwhelming support by the community, who dug deep into their pockets and donated, the 2019 Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway successfully raised $949,100 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our community should be applauded for using their hard-earned dollars to support this important cause.

Since 2007, De Young Properties has been a sponsor of 13 St. Jude homes, helping to raise $12,577,645 to help the kids of St. Jude fight cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley.

Tickets to win the house were available to the public starting in August with all proceeds going to St. Jude. This year, 10,000 tickets were available and 9,491 tickets were reserved for the Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. In addition, thousands of visitors toured the home leading up to the ticket drawing.

The 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house, located in De Young EnVision in Clovis, is one of the newest floorplans from De Young. The Residence 190 offers three bedrooms, two baths, a dining room and a 3 car oversized garage. In addition, the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house is a Zero Energy home, which means the home is designed with the potential to produce as much clean energy as it consumes in a year*, providing the grand prize winner with increased indoor comfort and energy independence. Once an EnVision Zero Energy home is built, it is up to the energy use choices of each homeowner to achieve optimum results.
