De Young Properties Honored with 2018 People’s Choice Award Recognition

De Young Properties has been recognized as a People’s Choice Award recipient for New Homebuilder, an annual honor given to three businesses per category by the Fresno Bee based on votes received from the community. De Young would like to thank the community for their votes in this great honor and for their continued support of the De Young Properties legacy.

De Young Properties is also committed to working in harmony with the environment, building affordable homes that are more durable, energy-efficient and healthier to live in, all while having a reduced impact on the environment. In 2017, De Young Properties launched Central California’s first Zero Energy community, De Young EnVision, with plans to bring additional Zero Energy homes to the Valley in 2018.

De Young’s family tradition extends beyond building homes, contributing time and resources to a number of charitable organizations and endeavors in an effort to improve the quality of life across our Valley. One such organization is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, for whom De Young Properties has served as the proud builder and major donor of 11 Central Valley St. Jude Dream Homes®. To date, De Young Properties has raised over $10.6 million to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® with the hope of raising an additional $1,000,000 this October on the 12th St. Jude Dream Home. Whether raising funds for children, building a home for a local hero or supporting local schools, non-profits and community groups, De Young builds dreams and gives hope to our community.
