2. Christmas Tree Lane

Gather your family and friends and take a car ride down Fresno's famed Christmas Tree Lane any night from now until Saturday, December 25. The almost century-old tradition (99 years to be exact) is one of the longest-running holiday events nationwide. Each December, homes along North Van Ness Boulevard in Fig Garden are decked-out for the holiday season and welcome thousands of visitors for the almost 2-mile stretch from Shields to Shaw. 3. Annual Downtown Fresno Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

After a hiatus in 2020, the 92nd Annual Christmas Parade is back in downtown Fresno. This year's theme is A Night at the Drive-In, so expect to see lots of creativity and nostalgia from participants. The parade will go down the heart of Downtown Fresno, Fulton Street. The parade is on Saturday, December 11th at 1 p.m. and then at 5 p.m. there is the ceremonial tree lighting at Mariposa Plaza, which will include a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus!

4. Holiday Fantasy of Lights

Returning for a second year is The Big Fresno Fair’s Holiday Fantasy of Lights event. Drive through a Winter Wonderland of 450 holiday light displays while enjoying Christmas music, hot cocoa and other tasty treats from vendors. There is also a special Walk Night on Wednesday, December 15th with an appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus. 5. Elf the Musical

Be sure not to miss a holiday favorite, Elf The Musical. Roger Rocka's will be showcasing the musical until January 9, 2022. The musical based on the beloved film will take the audience on a holiday ride as Buddy the Elf searches for his true identity.


6. Zoo Lights at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo

Zoo animals and Christmas, it can't get any better than this! Join the Chaffee Zoo this holiday season for their annual magical transformation and enjoy a stroll filled with live entertainment, beverages for adults and children, and a free, socially distant photo with Santa Claus.

7. Candy Cane Lane (Clovis)

Celebrate the holidays with a drive or walk down Candy Cane Lane through December 25th from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. nightly. With over 100 homes elaborately decorated with lights and displays, it will definitely spread some holiday cheer. Located off Peach and Alluvial in Clovis.

8. 10th Annual Jingle Bell Run

Don’t miss this year’s Jingle Bell run benefiting Toys for Tots on Saturday, December 11th. Participate in a 5K Run or 2-Mile Walk. Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy and be awarded a Santa hat. For more details and to register visit their website.

9. Christmas in the Park

The Valley Animal Center invites you to participate in their first annual “Christmas in the Park” event. This three-day event (December 10 – 12) will feature carolers, vendors, a Christmas tree walkway, bake sale, open house tours and more! More details can be found on their website.
