De Young Deepens Partnership with Habitat for Humanity

De Young and Habitat – A Perfect Pairing

As homebuilders, Habitat for Humanity and De Young Properties share both a common mission to help families across the Valley achieve their dreams of homeownership and a passion for bettering our communities. With aligning values and core drives, a partnership between our two companies seemed only natural, so when we heard Habitat was seeking donations for two new homes to be developed in Clovis, we were eager to help.

Donating Windows, Time and Knowledge

As part of our commitment to both the community and to the environment, we donated 10 energy efficient Anlin windows to the two Habitat for Humanity homes in Clovis, volunteered to help celebrate with the receiving family of one of the homes when they were selected, and eagerly chose to work alongside Habitat and the receiving family to help install the windows we had donated. The day arrived for installation and our corporate team put on their hardhats and worked side by side with the Habitat construction team and the wonderful receiving family of one of the homes, getting to know one another and working together toward a common goal: building a better tomorrow for our community.

For nearly a decade, De Young Properties has been forging a path toward a more sustainable and clean energy future, and we believe it’s important to encourage other builders in that same pursuit. It is for this reason we feel proud and humbled to support Habitat for Humanity and we hope to strengthen our relationship into the future, working collaboratively in a combined effort to increase the energy efficiency, and in turn the affordability and comfort, of Habitat for Humanity homes.
