This spring, De Young Properties began construction for the 2015 St. Jude Dream Home
to be given away to a lucky winner this November. The Groundbreaking Ceremony, covered live by KMPH Fox 26, included major donor and builder De Young Properties, trade partners andvolunteers. The 2,924 sq. ft. Multi-Generational home inthe De Young Park View community located on Temperance at Sierra in Clovis will be offered as the first place prize to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fight cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
One hundred percent of the proceeds of the giveaway are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Serving as major donor and builder of the St. Jude Dream Home for the past eight years, De Young Properties has successfully raised over $7.6 million for the hospital to date. This year, 11,000 tickets will be available in the hopes of raising $1,100,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley.
The 2015 St. Jude Dream Home is a Multi-Gen home – a design that provides a second, separate living space, complete with a bath, bedroom, kitchenette, living room and private entry. This concept is perfect for families that have more than two generations living in one home, have a parent/adult child returning to live at home, or need additional room for out-of-town guests. This flexible space can be personalized to fit the homeowner’s lifestyle. The home will offer four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two covered balconies and a formal dining room.
The winner’s dreams will come true with the home’s long list of special features, including a beautiful Tuscan elevation with stone accents, natural quartz counters, stainless steel General Electric appliances with gas cook top and an Energy Star-rated dishwasher.
